Methods & Pipeline
This project develops and applies a transparent research workflow to explore recursion across physics, neuroscience, and complex systems. The methods are open in principle but staged in release. Formal protocols, versioned YAML templates, and Python scripts will be published alongside finalized papers to ensure reproducibility.
Our process is iterative and auditable:
Phase 1: Workflow Overview
Insight Publication
Integrate findings into peer-reviewed manuscripts and Zenodo preprints, accompanied by accessible commentaries and evolving protocol documentation.
Literature Synthesis
Systematically review cross-domain studies to identify recurring structures (phase transitions, bifurcations, recursive boundaries).
Pattern Analysis
Apply scoring protocols using YAML templates to evaluate recursion, feedback loops, and threshold dynamics across studies.
Phase 2: Protocols
The Universal Energy Field (UEF) criteria are codified into YAML templates that guide evaluation of published studies. Each criterion emphasizes objectivity, falsifiability, and cross-scale applicability.
- Evaluation Protocols (v1.3): Templates define scoring categories such as recursion, feedback, and boundary dynamics.
- Dual Output: YAML blocks are designed to generate archival data plus formatted LaTeX/Markdown for publication use.
- Versioning: Each protocol revision is archived with clear changelogs.
Phase 3: Automated Pipeline
To extend coverage across disciplines, Python scripts automate scale determinate scanning of research databases.
- Keyword expansion across recursion, feedback, phase transitions, and multiscale dynamics.
- Search scripts currently query arXiv, Europe PMC, Semantic Scholar, and PubMed.
- CSV/YAML output enables bulk scoring and downstream visualization.
Phase 4: Transparency & Forthcoming Releases
Our commitment is to reproducibility and open methodology. To balance transparency with responsible release, we maintain the following approach:
Versioned archive maintained on Zenodo.
Narrative transparency now (overview and methodology).
Protocol templates and scripts released with peer-reviewed acceptance.
Phase 5: Open Access Links
To published Zenodo works
To GitHub access to python search, pipeline and scoring scripts. YAML config flags and evaluation protocols)
